I've started to notice something....

I've filled out and sent to others this "wanna know me" questionaire... and I've noticed that so far all the response for "When did you cry last" had answers that were recent. Even the guys answered something like "yesterday".

That is meaningful. First of all, I like to hear that the men and women I'm around are vulnerable to the Lord because most instances were from time with the Lord. Secondly, I love to hear that the men in my church aren't afraid to admit they cry! Thirdly, I feel a bit less self-conscious. I've always felt terribly strange about the fact I cry so much... it's nice to know others cry too!

pet peeves

My biggest one right now is people not returning emails or phone calls. That happens quite a bit. I have a friend who lives an hour away that doesn't return phone calls. I'm lucky every once in awhile and she actually picks up her phone. But now that food drive has started I guess I have to be prepared for that. It's already happened.... phone call, leave message and then, nothing....
