Working at Sylvan is so much fun!Just a few minutes ago, Kendall, a 2nd grade girl in our beginning reading program, actually spelled HUMILIATION by sounding it out! It was so cool to watch.... she was going to look it up in the dictionary but I told her that I thought she could do it by sounding it out and her teacher, Greg said if she could he'd give her 5 extra tokens!! To give a bit of perspective, a student gets 7 tokens a class hour if they do their best.... It's so fun!
